Halo Gym is a successful independent gym based in central Tunbridge Wells, Kent. We are seeking a highly motivated individual for the role of Gym Instructor/Receptionist. This role is suitable for someone who is looking to eventually become a full time PT with us.

This vacancy is for a permanent part-time role of initially 22.5hours per week, with the possibility to increase to full-time (37.5 hours) in the future. Salary dependent on age and experience.

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in becoming a Personal Trainer, as we will provide help and guidance along the way. The successful candidate should be either Level 2 fitness instructor qualified or studying currently for the qualification. Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification is advantageous but not essential at this stage.

We are looking for someone who portrays a positive, can-do attitude and excellent interpersonal skills, with drive to succeed in the fitness industry.

Previous experience working in a gym environment would be preferable, but again not essential.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

- to be customer service focused and deliver an excellent service to all customers

- to ensure the gym and reception area is kept clean and tidy at all times

- to be responsible for opening/closing of the gym, when required

- to drive Sales of memberships and products such as supplements

- to ensure that administration is dealt with in a timely manner

- to respond to customer enquiries in a timely and professional manner

- teaching classes (circuits, HIIT, spin etc)

- carry out gym inductions for new joiners
