BRC are working with a Reputable Housing Association who are looking for a Fire Trade Supervisor to join their team in Cambridgeshire
Main Responsibilities:
- Overseeing a team of 6 Trade Operatives across multiple sites, ensuring high quality work is being carried out to resident’s homes
- Coordinate between the planners and operations manager and the team on a daily basis to plan the operative’s workload
- Complete site surveys and meet with clients to continuously improve services
- Process orders for materials and managing resources effectively
- Supervise staff carrying out fault fixing and maintenance duties, ensuring these are in-line with the service and works specifications
- Review PPM and remedials works are being planned
- Ensure health and safety regulations are being adhered to at all times
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers
- Assist with the recruitment for the teams as well as regular performance reviews and development of staff
- Support staff in resolving difficult problems, ensuring customers are kept informed with timelines and processes
Job Requirements
- Demonstrable experience of managing/supervising staff within a fire and security environment
- Knowledge of health and safety legislations
- Full UK driving licence
