Position Overview:
They are seeking a skilled and experienced Fire Sprinkler Design Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing fire sprinkler systems for a variety of projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maximizing efficiency and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design fire sprinkler systems for commercial and residential buildings, including layout, pipe sizing, and hydraulic calculations.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to develop comprehensive fire protection plans.
• Conduct site surveys to assess project requirements and identify potential challenges.
• Utilize AutoCAD and other design software to create detailed drawings and schematics.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and standards to ensure designs meet all requirements.
• Provide technical support and assistance to installation teams during project implementation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in fire sprinkler system design, with a minimum of 2-3 years in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of NFPA codes and standards, including NFPA 13.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Certification as a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) is preferred but not required.
