Fire and Security Engineer
Salary £25,000 - £35,000 depending on experience.
Company Vehicle and Mobile Phone provided.


Pertemps are currently working with a family run fire and security business based in South Wales. Due to an increase in customers across South Wales and Bristol they are now looking for further engineers to join their ever-expanding team.

The successful candidates will work with the installation team and your responsibilities will include;
  • Manage and process installation jobs from first fix to handover.
  • Liaising with customers, aiming for high quality customer service, and retained custom.
  • Complete installations as per design specification and complete associated paperwork
  • Manage time effectively to ensure jobs are completed within time allocated and within timescales.
  • Effective communication with customers and engineering manager.

Key Skills & Experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant British Standards (BS5839:2017 Part 1, PD6662:2017, NCP 104, NCP 109
  • Familiar with NSI Codes of Practice
  • Full UK Driving Licence
If you have experience within the below fields, please apply!
  • Intruder Installation (Texecom, Galaxy, Orisec, Risco & Pyronix)
  • Installation of communicators via broadband and GPRS (Dualcom, Emizon)
  • Fire Alarm Installation (Advanced, Kentec & CTEC)
  • Access Control and Door Entry systems (Videx, Paxton)
  • Installation of CCTV systems - knowledge of IP systems is essential.
