Fire & Security Business Developmenet Manager required. Our client, that has been established over 35 years in the Fire & Security industry, is currently looking for a Business Development manager due to the growth of the business. There are two sales teams which are Corporate and Territory which they are looking to recruit for. They will consider an experience BDM anywhere in the UK.

Fire & Security Business Development Manager Position Overview

Both

  • Professional account management experience selling high-end security or fire solutions across a wide range of public and private sector organisations.
  • Building productive and profitable working relationships with our customers
  • Being responsible for revenue and demand forecasting, account planning, and other sales tasks to grow financial objectives
  • Consulting with customers to design, cost and build proposals for security systems to meet requirements.
  • Assessing market opportunities and developing business plans to meet revenue objectives

Corporate role

  • Experience of working with large Enterprise customers, Public Sector bodies and M&E Contractors
  • Track record in leading bid /tender teams for installation projects and Service Agreements
  • A professional and solutions-based approach to account management
  • Expertise in pipeline development and conversion
  • Success in both developing new business and growing established customer accounts
  • Knowledge of/experience of working with high end clients and Major contractors
  • Working across multi-disciplined teams

Territory role

  • Success in both developing new business and growing established customer accounts
  • Ability to work autonomously with remote support
  • Understanding of service and product sales and the ability to innovate new ways the product can serve customers
  • A professional and solutions-based approach to managing customer requirements
  • Effective negotiations skills and the ability to overcome objectives

Fire & Security Business Development Manager Position Requirements

  • 5 years+ Experience in a similar role.
  • Happy with a nationwide role

Fire & Security Business Development Manager Position Remuneration

  • Salary: £40 to £45k with an OTE of £85,000- £100,000
  • Company vehicle or allowance
  • 25 days holidays plus bank holidays
