Fire Safety Contract Manager - Cornwall

Your new company
You will join a housing landlord who manages and maintains over 12,000 homes across the county of Cornwall. Your new employer looks after around 400 leasehold homes on behalf of the unitary council, as well as garages, shops and land within neighbourhoods. You will work to deliver a shared vision for Cornwall, to ensure that high quality homes and housing services are delivered, achieving the Cornish housing standard for maintaining homes, whilst efficiently using resources and creating new homes.

Your new role
You will help to take ownership of, and deliver a number of critical projects and programmes of works which have been planned to take place across the next 12 months. These programmes have been identified as a result of a recent FRA programme, and involve a variety of works to include compartmentation, fire alarms, sprinklers, lighting, front doors and other fire specific schemes. You will join an asset management team as the expert in fire safety within residential property and construction, and as such part of your role will include offering advice on the delivery of other schemes.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role, it is critical that you have experience within both fire safety / fire compliance and construction - in order to support this, you may have a relevant level 3 qualification, NEBOSH or chartered membership within the fire safety expertise.

What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive an initial 18-month fixed contract position, which is likely to extend beyond this point as other large projects and programmes start to materialise. You will receive a starting salary of £50,000, alongside a full compliment of benefits which include generous annual leave entitlement, contributory pension contributions and more.
