Fire Risk Assessment Manager Package Overview:

  • £45,000 - £50,000 per annum + Car Allowance/Company Car + Car Mileage Allowance + Annual Bonus
  • Full-Time, Permanent, Monday - Friday
  • Harlow, Essex
  • Hybrid Working (available after probationary period)
  • There is a requirement to travel to London on a regular basis

Company Overview - Fire Risk Assessment Manager

This company is a reputable business with over 25 years’ experience within the Fire & Security industry. They have experienced significant growth over the past few years and are currently seeking a Fire Risk Assessment Managerto join their highly valued team on a full-time basis.

The Fire Risk Assessment Manager will be responsible for reviewing the fire risk assessments and acting on various recommendations resulting from those fire risk assessments.

Fire Risk Assessment Manager Role and Responsibilities:

  • Decide on best course of action required to resolve findings from fire risk assessments
  • Ensure that the required rectification works are assigned to the correct department and dealt with in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensure works are tracked from the front-end quotation process, order booking phase, execution phase of completing the work, through to final billing phase
  • Ensure outstanding actions are kept within acceptable levels

Fire Risk Assessment Manager Skills and Experience:

Previous experience of carrying out Fire Risk Assessments or NEBOSH National Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management qualified
A Full UK Driving Licence or equivalent
Knowledge of Active Fire Life Safety Systems (Essential)
Experience in the Fire & Life Safety Systems industry is (Essential)
Ability to supervise staff and make department decisions
Strong IT skills including Word, Excel and Outlook
Strong financial awareness acquired in a service delivery or contract management role preferred
An understanding of the relevant British Standards for Fire Alarms (BS5839-1 and BS5839-6), Smoke Vent Systems (BS7346-8), Emergency Lighting Systems (BS5266) & Evacuation Alert Systems (BS8629) is highly desirable
