Sales Manager responsibilities:
  • Field sales and project specification position, promoting a manufactured range of passive fire protection systems
  • Majority of the time will be spent focused on building new business relationship, targeting architects and main contractors
  • However some time will be spent on selling directly to passive fire protection contractors, cladding contractors and specialist building envelope contractors, architects, main contractors and sub-contractors
  • Provide field sales technical specification support
  • Typical projects to include social housing, hospitals and care homes, high rise residential and high rise commercial offices
  • Will be required to conduct CPD seminars
  • Will be required to travel extensively for site visits

Successful Sales Manager:
  • Must be required to work UK wide 
  • Must have 5+ years technical specification sales experience within the construction industry. Experience in specification of passive fire protection system will be a significant advantage.
  • Must have experience targeting passive fire protection contractors, dry lining contractors, facade / curtain wall contractors, specialist building envelope contractor, architects, main contractors or sub-contractors
  • Strong technical/ engineering background, with the ability to understand geometric shapes and designs and an ability to offer product and project solutions
  • IT literate, CAD skills preferred
  • Ideally have experience in delivering CPDs
  • Should have solution-based sales approach, positive, professional, and customer service orientated
  • Experience in fire protection, acoustic/thermal insulation materials, and facades is beneficial but not essential
