Fire and Security Engineer required for our client, specialists in Intruder, Access Control, CCTV and Fire Alarms. They are now looking for an experienced Engineer to join a growing and thriving installation company. They cover works across Birmingham and the surrounding areas.

Fire and Security Engineer Position Remuneration

  • £28,000 - £40,000 DOE
  • 20 days + 8BH
  • Pension Scheme
  • Van and Fuel Card
  • Sick Pay
  • Monday - Friday (40-hour week)

Fire and Security Engineer Position Overview

  • Plan, carry out and review installations when on site
  • To attend reactive call outs
  • Performing tasks on Intruder, Access Control, CCTV and Fire Alarms in both commercial and domestic settings
  • Complete and carry out installations
  • Collecting necessary stock and equipment for the week ahead
  • Liaising with clients, customers and engineers
  • To attend On Call work (1 in 4) standby fee - £7 a day on week days, £10 on a weekend and paid at 1.5X if called out

Fire and Security Engineer Position Requirements

  • A good knowledge of installations within domestic and commercial settings
  • A good understanding of Intruder, Access Control, CCTV and Fire Alarms
  • Work well by themselves and within a team
  • To be able to follow drawing and schematics
  • Basic understanding of maintenance tasks
  • Write up and submit reports
  • Full UK Driving Licence
