Looking for someone knowledgeable of British Standards around Fire Alarm and Life Safety Systems in residential blocks to take on a Sales role.

Applicants must be capable of surveying, designing, estimating and preparing sales proposals.

The client will consider a Fire Alarm Engineer used to estimating and pricing works looking to get off the tools, or, an experienced Estimator looking for a Sales role, or any previous similar Fire Alarm Systems sales experience.

This role is 90% Account Management on inbound sales opportunities. You will be pricing new systems in new-build properties and upgrades to systems in existing blocks, mostly for current clients (large housing associations, local authorities and large building firms).

The role is hybrid working, expect 2-3 days out surveying and estimating to 2-3 days from home writing up quotes. Occasional meetings at the company HQ in Essex. Must be confident using Excel.

You will be covering sites in South London mostly, with occasional days on other contracts including Brighton and Portsmouth.

You will be responsible to around £2-3M in project estimation per annum.

Salary of £40 - £50K basic DoE, with around a £10K bonus scheme, paid annually, and a company car or car allowance.

Full time permanent job with 26 days holiday (+ bank hols), pension etc.

Must hold a full UK Licence.
