Fire Security & Emergency Lighting Engineer| Stoke on Trent | Salary - £34000 - £37000
Cherry Professional are currently working with a well established and Security company. You will be responsible for visiting customer sites, and providing routine servicing, testing and repairs to their fire alarms and emergency lighting systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible to carry out system maintenance, reactive and small or extra works to, CCTV, access control, security systems and automatic fire comprising of both internal and external client
  • Identify deviations from the regulation’s potential problems and risks
  • Service and maintain a wide range of Fire and Security systems.
  • Work on CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms, and Fire Alarms
  • Test and repair circuits and sensors, following wiring and system specifications.
  • Feed cables through access holes, roof spaces or cavity walls to reach fixture outlets, positioning and termination cables, wires, or strapping.
  • Inspect equipment to locate or identify electrical problems.
  • Attend and repair emergency callouts as required
  • Test backup batteries, keypad programming, sirens, or other security features to ensure proper functioning or to diagnose malfunctions
Ideal Candidate:
  • 3 years of experience within the fire alarms and emergency lighting industry with excellent working knowledge of the British Standards BS5839, BS5266 and BS767
  • Familiar with the current British Standards
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technology
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality customer service
  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team
  • Be security and DBS checked
  • Comfortable working at height
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces
