Title: Fire Alarm Servicing and maintenance Engineer (including Emergency lights and Electrical works)

The Company: Highly accredited Fire and Electrical company. A large contract has been won and they are now on the lookout for an Additional Fire Alarm Engineer.

Package:

  • £38,000 - £43,000 basic
  • Overtime available at 1.5 evenings and Saturdays, 2.0 on Sundays
  • 20 days’ holiday + Holidays, increasing to 25 days with length of service
  • Progression and further qualifications
  • Private healthcare
  • Company Van with fuel card (Can include personal use)
  • IPad, testing equipment, employee of the month scheme

Main Responsibilities:

  • Servicing and maintenance on Fire Alarm Systems and Emergency Lights
  • Fault finding and testing on Fire Alarm Systems
  • Fill out job sheets and test certificates electronically
  • Remedial on Fire Alarm Systems
  • Taking part in the call out rota – currently 1 in 8/10

Knowledge and experience:

  • 5 years’ experience servicing and fault finding on Fire Alarm Systems.
  • Fire Alarm panel experience desired: Advanced, Kentec, Morely and conventional systems.
  • NVQ level 3 electrotechnical systems and equipment – preferred but not essential
  • ECS Card
  • Electrical knowledge and experience in replacing emergency lights.
  • Full UK driving licence – no points being desired
