We are looking for a suitably experienced person for the position of Financial Stock Controller with our client in Bellshill. This role is within a finance team and requires someone with a finance background, and it does not involve the actual physically counting of stock.

The Financial Stock Controller role will based in their Bellshill office and will help the operation run smoothly and be responsible for arranging and tracking stock transfers, reconciling stocks, reconciling invoices, matching off changing weekly prices to invoices on a daily basis, and liaising with directors and procurement colleagues on queries on invoices or inaccuracies in stock.

Working with spreadsheets will be a key part of this role so this is something you must have excellent experience in. In this role you will understand the financial impact of stock transactions and help reduce errors and adjustments as necessary. Previous experience in financial stock control would be ideal but we can also consider the applications of other finance professionals who believe they could transfer to this type of position, perhaps people from a purchase ledger or general financial ledger positions.

- Have excellent communication skills - both written and verbal

- Be PC literate - MS Office and particularly Excel

- Have the ability to work as part of a team and independently when required

- Have strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail

- Have drive, determination and ownership of the role
