Financial Services Administrator/Trainee Paraplanner

My client is a boutique advice practice based in southeast rural Norfolk.

My client is currently looking for an experienced financial services administrator/trainee paraplanner to join their already experienced team of admin staff and paraplanners supporting the businesses current team of advisers.

Key duties

• Liaising with advisers and colleagues in all aspects of the business process

• Speaking with insurance companies and investment companies to obtain specific information

• Preparation of investment reports and review packs for existing clients

• Preparation of new business packs for prospective clients of the firm

• Use of back office system to construct data records and obtain information for existing clients

• Assisting the advisers to ensure business is processed efficiently and accurately

• Complying with FCA rules and internal compliance procedures

Key personal skills required for this role are:

• Honesty

• Integrity

• Reliability

• Ability to work well under pressure

• Good knowledge and experience of using Microsoft office and Excel

• Mathematics and English qualifications (grade C and above)

• A good telephone manner

• Experience within financial services, ideally within an insurance company or financial advisory business

Experience:

• Financial services: 1 year (required)
