This position requires a Financial Reporting Manager who can effectively manage financial reporting tasks and lead a Transactional Finance team in a regulated environment. The role involves ensuring compliance with financial regulations, working with the Auditors and producing the Annual Accounts.

Description
- Oversee and manage financial reporting processes
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Provide insightful financial data to aid in strategic decision-making
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals
- Collaborate with senior management to align financial management with business strategy
- Drive the implementation of financial systems and processes
- Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies
- Preparing monthly management accounts, including balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reports to inform business strategy.
- Overseeing payroll processes and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
- Providing support, training, and development opportunities to team members and driving process improvements within the finance department.
Profile
A successful Financial Reporting Manager should have:
- Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and standards
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Proficiency in financial reporting systems
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
- Working knowledge of UK GAAP
