This position requires a Financial Reporting Manager who can effectively manage financial reporting tasks and lead a Transactional Finance team in a regulated environment. The role involves ensuring compliance with financial regulations, working with the Auditors and producing the Annual Accounts.

Description

  • Oversee and manage financial reporting processes
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
  • Provide insightful financial data to aid in strategic decision-making
  • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals
  • Collaborate with senior management to align financial management with business strategy
  • Drive the implementation of financial systems and processes
  • Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies
  • Preparing monthly management accounts, including balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reports to inform business strategy.
  • Overseeing payroll processes and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Providing support, training, and development opportunities to team members and driving process improvements within the finance department.

Profile

A successful Financial Reporting Manager should have:

  • Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and standards
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Proficiency in financial reporting systems
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
  • Working knowledge of UK GAAP
