Financial Reporting Analyst - 3 months Temp - £18.00 - £20.00 per hour PAYE - London/Hybrid

Insurance group is seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Analyst to support on an interim basis at their City of London offices.

This is a temporary role to start ASAP (dependant on checks) for an initial 3-month period and will pay between £18.00 and £20.00 per hour PAYE.

This role is predominantly home based with a requirement to attend their London City office at least twice per month.

The Financial Reporting Analyst will manage all AP reporting and will involve continuous data analysis to keep management informed of key statistics and trends.  The Financial Reporting Analyst will create regular and ad hoc reporting and perform moderate to complex queries. Duties will include:
  • Assist in developing and updating statistical reporting of department's key performance indicators.
  • Continuous communication with key stakeholders on issues and opportunities affecting operations, provide training and guidance where necessary.
  • Implement task automation and process improvements; recommend enhancements that result in increased quality and efficiencies.
  • Recommend and develop ways to improve efficiencies for reviewing daily/monthly reporting processes.
  • Report and manage Purchase Order compliance across the business.  Work cohesively with Manager and cross functional heads to ensure there is an upward trend in Purchase Order compliance.

The ideal Financial Reporting Analyst will have the following knowledge skills and experience:
  • Extensive experience creating data analytics and using analytical techniques using Power BI.
  • Strong Experience working in a Finance based role, with knowledge of Accounts Payable
  • Experience of Finance ERP systems - Dynamics D365 is desirable
  • A track record of developing data models and analysis to support business goals.
  • Experience using data mining and analytical tools to extract, analyse and manipulate data.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead presentations and attend meetings with senior management & key stakeholders.
  • Advanced working knowledge in Excel.
