Financial Reporting Analyst

South Oxford - Hybrid Working

£55,000 - £65,000 + benefits

We are looking for a detail focused Financial Reporting Analyst who can deliver monthly reporting across a complex, multi-entity, multi-site group with an international reach.

This position works closely with the Head of Financial Reporting and Group FC and is offering high levels of autonomy as well as the opportunity to play an integral part in systems, process and reporting change.

The Role

The successful Financial Reporting Analyst will manage the following:

  • Support production of the monthly group consolidated management reporting pack with support from FP&A team and Head of Group Reporting.
  • Prepare commentary and analysis for the group reporting pack.
  • Support the preparation of the annual group accounts including Balance sheet, Profit & loss, cash flow statement and notes to the accounts under IFRS.
  • Prepare consolidation entries and export of relevant reports to pass to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Play a key role in liaising with the auditors and providing relevant group information on the group audit each year.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally to successfully manage flows of information.
  • Ownership of monthly Forex rates for the Group and validating and accounting for all entries associated with Forex.
  • Support and contribute to ad-hoc group projects e.g. process improvement, systems enhancements etc
  • Supporting with the group treasury reporting including providing detailed analysis on cashflows and supporting the improvement of forecasting accuracy.

We need someone who is technically capable and comfortable with IFRS reporting standards. Great attention to detail and a desire to partner with stakeholders internally and externally e.g. FP&A, auditors and tax advisors is essential!

Your Profile

We are looking for a well-educated and bright qualified accountant, either making their first step into industry from practice or moving within industry.

The breadth of this role and ability to works across the group makes it an excellent career springboard as a first move post qualification.

We need someone ambitious who has the mindset to add value and pro-actively make improvements wherever possible.

Benefits

£55,000 - £65,000 + benefits. This role is offered on a hybrid basis 3 days per week in office.
