Our client, a Private Equity-backed Software (SaaS) business, is currently undergoing remarkable growth. Operating globally, it has established offices in 12 countries, over half of which were launched within the last 12 months, and anticipates further expansions. In preparation for a Private Equity fundraise in Q1 2025, the company is strategically positioning itself for continued success.

You will be supporting the Director of FP&A with all fundraising and investor activities, while focusing on building and leading a best-in-class, business-first FP&A function.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the FP&A team (currently 3 Financial Analysts).
  • Delivering a robust planning and performance management framework.
  • Leading 5-year strategy planning, annual budgeting, re-forecasting, scenario planning, and special projects.
  • Implementing tools/processes to provide efficient scenario planning capability and insightful analysis of business performance, KPI's, and forecasts.
  • Business partnering with operational stakeholders at the most senior level.

This is a high-profile role with the opportunity to make it your own and have a tangible impact within a rapidly scaling global SaaS business. As such, you must be able to demonstrate the ability to challenge current processes, propose and enact improvements, and contribute innovative ideas that add value to the organisation.

Your profile:

  • A qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) professional with extensive international FP&A experience, ideally in a related business with 'big data' analytical capabilities (i.e., SaaS).
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, especially at C-Suite, Board, and Investor levels.
  • Experience in strategic planning and delivering insightful analysis to enhance business performance.
  • Corporate Finance exposure, either from Transaction Services (i.e., Big 4) or supporting fundraising/M&A/deal activity in a private equity/venture capital-backed environment.
  • Ability to manage a global FP&A function growing in size and complexity.
  • Experience with enterprise-level financial systems, advanced knowledge of using Excel, and other analytic tools.
