Financial Planner

Good bosses/mentors are like good teachers. They have such a massive impact on you, shaping your values and your approach throughout your life.

If you're working with someone like that right now you'll know how beneficial they are to your development. They contribute so much to how happy you are. How fulfilled you are.

But if you don't have that right now it's the opposite. You're not fulfilled. You're not learning. In fact, you're drifting.

It doesn't have to be like that.

At this firm you'll work closely with a senior financial planner who will help unlock your potential. They'll pass you some of their clients but not only that - they'll mentor you. You'll get the support and guidance you've been missing and together you'll grow the office.

The support doesn't end there. You'll inherit clients from the MD and work closely with a dedicated business development manager. Their job is to open doors with professional connections and with the senior planner at capacity, those leads will come to you. And with existing clients typically in the £250,000 - £1m range, you'll pick up some great clients from day one.

You'll also have the support of an administration and paraplanning team. You'll get to focus your time on winning and servicing clients, not paperwork.

Salary will depend on the individual (your level of experience will be a key factor). But you'll have a salary of up to £60,000 and a bonus scheme that means top performers will earn significant bonus (£100,000+).

It's a firm that trusts its staff so you'll work on a hybrid basis (once you've settled in). There's also an extensive benefits package including:
  • Private Medical Insurance
  • Share Options Scheme
  • Pension and DIS
  • 25 days holiday (+ Bank Holidays) per annum
  • Employee Volunteering
  • Comprehensive support around qualifications and personal improvement with flexible arrangements for study leave
This is a modern, vibrant financial planning firm with a leadership team much younger than most firms in the profession. So your energy and ambition will be welcomed, not stifled.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

You'll need 12 months+ post-CAS financial planning experience. You'll have a modern approach to financial planning with a belief in cashflow modelling. And you'll be able to develop relationships with professional connections and existing clients.

The local office is in the Ipswich area so you'll be able to get to that several times a week.
