Our client is looking for an experienced Financial Planner for a new player/manager role to be based from their Tunbridge Wells office.

Due to continued organic growth and ongoing acquisitions, this is an excellent opportunity for someone to lead a team of 5 financial planners and take the lead in driving the business development agenda for the region. There is another office in Kent so the Tunbridge Wells office will focus on Sussex clients and also have oversight of another Sussex office. The team is well supported by internal leads and existing introducer relationships, but there is plenty still to do to solidify the reputation of the business in Sussex which is a fairly new region for this national firm.

The ideal candidate will be

- An experienced financial planner, ideally Chartered or working towards although experience will take priority over qualifications

- A proven business developer with a good network in Sussex - ideally with some clients to bring in order to hit the ground running although this is not essential.

- Experience of leading/supervising/mentoring others

Our client offers a hybrid working environment with typically 2 days a week in the office. There will also be occasional travel to another Sussex office as part of this role.
