Financial Planner - Sheffield succession planning

Financial Planner - Sheffield succession planning

No one likes uncertainty. But if there's one thing that can put off someone from clicking apply it's the fear of the unknown.

How do I know what resources I will have? How do I know they'll deliver? How do I know what's in it for me?

This firm can answer all those questions.

They're acquisitive, which along with promotions and retirements, leads to succession planning issues. That means they have sizeable, high quality client banks to pass on from several people in the next 12-24 months.

Allied with this is the fact that existing planners are at capacity. So not only will you inherit some of their clients as well, you'll have a free run at all new enquiries.

The extent and complexity of these client banks will be tailored to whoever joins them. So your specialisms, your interests and your capacity will be taken into consideration. This isn't a one size fits all environment.

And given these are planned successions, you can get a breakdown of numbers, business mix and profiles. And with that you can draw up a plan for new business opportunities.

You'll get a good starting salary (c£50,000 - £55,000) befitting someone with your knowledge and experience (2 years plus as a planner). You'll get 30% on new business and 15% on ongoing paid half yearly, making this a six-figure environment.

You'll have the support of administrators and paraplanners who not only carry out their traditional duties. They are front and centre when it comes to dealing with clients too, freeing up even more of your time.

There's flexible working and an ethos of encouraging a healthy work/life balance. And the feedback we get from planners who have interviewed and now work for them, is excellent.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

You'll need to be a level 4 adviser with a good track record.

You'll have CAS and have the energy, determination and ability to manage a sizeable client portfolio.

And good experience (2 years plus as a planner) is needed.

Clients are in the Greater Sheffield region along with your local office, so you'll live in the area.
