Our client, a highly successful and rapidly growing business, are seeking an acomplished qualified accountant to join their Forecasting and Reporting Team. As a vital contributor to our dynamic environment, you will collaborate closely with diverse stakeholders across the organisation to drive the Group's budget and forecast processes. Your role will encompass delivering precise and timely performance reporting, comprehensive investment appraisal, and overseeing the Finance MI system to ensure the delivery of meaningful KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the group budgeting and forecasting processes, liaising with stakeholders and delivering final budget packs and supporting analyses.
  • Facilitate the monthly Capital Investment Committee, ensuring robust business cases for major Capex requests and conducting post-investment appraisals.
  • Regularly report on expected outcomes, identifying key areas of risk or opportunity.
  • Produce insightful management information, consolidating data from various sources.
  • Manage Group Insurance policies, collaborating with brokers to ensure appropriate coverage and competitive rates.
  • Perform other financial modeling duties as required, such as leverage and EPS forecasting.
  • Assist the Group HR function in the annual salary review process, ensuring data accuracy and clear reporting for critique.
  • Oversee the Cognos TM1 system, including financial and non-financial information and associated reporting.
  • Provide support to the wider finance team on ad-hoc duties as needed.

Required Skills:

  • Qualified accountant with a proven track record.
  • Demonstrable experience in preparing budgets and forecasts for large, multi-site organizations.
  • Proficient in Excel, VBA, and Powerquery; familiarity with TM1 desirable.
  • Exceptional data manipulation skills, with the ability to derive insightful analysis and commentary.
  • Experience streamlining complex processes.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex ideas to diverse stakeholders.
  • Commercially focused with a critical mindset to challenge assumptions.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholder expectations effectively.

Location: Diss office, with a hybrid approach of a minimum of 3 days in-office per week.
