Financial Controller

Robert Half are recruiting a Financial Controller on a permanent basis with a growing business based in Chippenham. This role can be based primarily from home with travel to the office at least 1 day per week, and would suit someone seeking their first Financial Controller role.

The role

The Financial Controller will be a pivotal member of the senior leadership team, advising on budgets, WIP and regular forecasting. This is a newly created role offering scope for progression long term, and the opportunity to add value. The role will involve the following:

• Regular forecasting and budgeting (monthly, quarterly and annual).
• Internal and external reporting including supporting with the audit.
• Managing a team of 2 and supporting with monthly management accounts production.
• Member of the SLT with responsibility for presenting numbers and supporting with key business decisions.
• Financial analysis and modelling.

Profile

This role would suit someone with the following skills/attributes:

• 2-6 years PQE ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
• Experience of working in a large/international business.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and business partnering capabilities.
• Forward thinking and solutions orientated.
• Technology sector experience an advantage.
