Financial Controller

Marks Sattin has partnered with a global automation organisation with a growing manufacturing site based close to Portsmouth to recruit a Financial Controller. This is an interim role that will be required for a minimum of three months with likely extension. The current mandate is three days on-site and two days at home.

The role will manage all aspects of financial and management reporting for the site and require strong business partnering with associated departmental teams in day to day operations.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Providing variance analysis and commentary on accounts
• Oversee production of annual statutory accounts
• Manage the P&L, balance sheets, cashflow reports
• Business partnerning with non-finance stakeholders
• Assisting CFO with presenting to executive stakeholders/board members
• Assist with the VAT and other statutory reports

The ideal candidate will be:

• Qualified - ACA, ACCA or CIMA
• Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience required
• Experience within an international products or software environment is desirable
• Strong cash flow and working capital exposure
• Immediately Available or short notice period
