As the Financial Controller/CFO, you will be responsible for leading the financial strategy and direction at the board level within the not-for-profit sector. You will champion the organisation's mission, driving financial performance and growth.

Description

The responsibilities for this Financial Controller role include:

• Lead and execute the financial strategy
• Manage financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
• Provide financial insights and guidance to the board
• Oversee the Accounting & Finance Department
• Manage relationships with external auditors and stakeholders
• Drive the financial performance and growth of the organisation
• Have involvement in the Finance recruitment process.

Profile

A successful Financial Controller should have:

• Academic background in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
• Proven experience in a similar role within the not-for-profit sector
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and standards
• Exceptional leadership and strategic planning skills
• Excellent financial and business acumen
• Ability to drive financial performance and growth
