Financial Controller - Spilsby/Hybrid - up to £75k

Benjamin Edwards are recruiting for a Financial Controller to join an established and growing business. The company is looking for an experienced Financial Controller, who is proactive and can demonstrate strong leadership skills. This role will suit a dynamic individual who can contribute to the successful running of the finance function.

The role of the Financial Controller

  • Full responsibility of the management accounts, including P&L and cashflow forecasts
  • WIP reporting
  • Embedding new processes around project profitability.
  • Overseeing the transactional finance/admin team
  • Preparing the annual budgeting process
  • Managing the year-end audit process

The ideal candidate for the role of Financial Controller

  • ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified
  • Excellent interpersonal skills able to communicate at all levels.
  • Commercially focused
  • Strong analytical & Excel skills / Sage 200 desirable
  • Technically sound knowledge of management accounting principles and practice
