Growing Wealth and Asset Management firm as part of a wider national group focusing on customer satisfaction around managing customers' wealth. Offering investment management advice to personal and corporate customers through its UK network of offices requires a hands-on Financial Controller.

Your new role

Reporting to the Head of Finance, responsibilities include: Day to day management of finance operations with a team of 2, general ledger, analytical review and analysis of financial data, GAAP, IFRS, financial reporting, complete HMRC returns, VAT, tax, monthly accounts, preparation of year-end statutory accounts, oversight of bank recs, business partnering, regulatory reporting, liquidity and capital requirements, one off automation projects and continuous process improvements.

What you'll need to succeed

Qualified Accountant with financial control experience gained within an Asset Management or wider financial services firm (essential) technically strong with a track record of providing a financial control service to senior stakeholders. You will liaise with different teams around the business. Enjoy's running small finance teams.
