Role
We are partnering with a small, independent organisation in West Berkshire to appoint a Financial Controller. You will work closely with the managing director and be solely responsible for the entire finance function, from bookkeeping and payroll to cashflow forecasting and reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for a first time FC or someone looking to increase their work-life balance/flexibility. Working for an amazing organisation who will help support you further in your studies and give you a path to progress into an FD/MD.

Other responsibilities will include:
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Preparation and presentation of financial statements
  • Facilitating external audits
  • Managing financial transactions
  
Requirements:
You will be a proven team-player, degree-educated and hold a membership with a professional accounting body.
  • CIMA, ACCA, or MAAT qualified
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to prioritise and manage a heavy workload.
  • Previous stakeholder management experience
  
Offering flexible working hours.
