Job Title: Financial Controller

Location: Maidstone

Salary: £30,000-£40,000 (Part time)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to oversee all financial aspects of our operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting. Additionally, they will play a crucial role in strategic decision-making to ensure the continued success and growth of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
  • Prepare financial statements, reports, and forecasts on a regular basis for management review.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting processes to optimize financial performance.
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and taxation functions.
  • Conduct regular internal audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial information.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support project costing, pricing, and profitability analysis.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or CMA designation preferred.
  • Proven experience in a financial management role, preferably within the construction or related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and taxation laws.
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet tight deadlines.

Salary and Benefits:
