RG Consultancy are working with a fast growing manufacturing business in Stockport who are looking to recruit a Financial Controller. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Financial Controller to take ownership of and oversee a small finance department, reporting back to the CFO.

The Role

  • To take ownership of and oversee the finance department
  • Implementing strategic plans and working with senior leadership
  • Monthly financial reporting
  • Monthly management accounts, P&L, balance sheets, cash flow
  • Preparation of board packs
  • Budgets and forecasting
  • Responsible for audit preparations
  • Improving efficiency across the business and controlling costs
  • Successfully delivering key projects within the finance department
  • Manage a small finance team

The Person

  • Experience within a managerial position in finance/accounts
  • Ideally ACCA or CIMA qualified or finalist
  • Driven to meet business and personal targets
  • Strong IT skills, experience with SAP is preferred
