£85-100,000 - No 1 Finance role - - Impressive privately-owned Property Investment, Development & Management group in C.London, has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller / Head of Finance to join its senior team.

The company is seeking a highly experienced long-term Financial Controller / Head of Finance to succeed the current incumbent who is retiring.

The portfolio has a GAV of c£100m+ and the company has a strong mix of rental income and other revenue streams.

Reporting to the CEO and the Board, the new Financial Controller / Head of Finance role will include:

  • Management of a small finance team, overseeing bookkeeping, processing, general ledger, VAT and month-end, using Sage and MRI Qube.
  • Preparation of the monthly board pack, providing management accounts, key management information, KPIs and covenant reporting to the banks.
  • Working capital management and cash flow reporting, together with preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Ongoing development of financial procedures, controls and reporting to aid decision-making as the portfolio grows and revenue streams increase.
  • Manage various statutory entities, SPVs and tax compliance, ensuring timely meeting of all statutory obligations, managing relationships with banks, auditors, tax and external advisers.
  • Working closely with the CEO and Development Director providing quality financial information for new assets and capital expenditure on the current portfolio.

As Financial Controller / Head of Finance, you will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA, CIMA) with relevant experience in the Property / Real Estate sector in investment, development or management.
