Financial Controller

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller to be employed permanently for our client, an established organisation within the education sector.

This is a great role for someone with 5+ years of experience in a similar setting and who has a Chartered Accountancy Qualification (or currently working towards).

Responsibilities include:

• Managing the budgeting process.
• Financial reporting and auditing.
• Forecasting.
• Grant applications and fundraising.
• Major procurements.
• Banking and investment.
• Ensuring effective finance systems, processes and procedures.
• Attending monthly meetings and preparing documents beforehand.
• Invoicing and payment processing.
• Cash, banking, treasurer and investment of funds.
• Tax (including VAT and other relevant taxes).
• Payroll and PAYE.

Requirements include:

• Experience working as a Financial Controller.
• 5+ years experience in an education environment.
• Chartered Management Accountant Qualification (or working towards).
