Position: Financial Controller
Reporting to: Chief Finance Officer
Salary: Up to £65,000
Overview:
Seeking a proactive and strategic Financial Controller to manage our client's operational finance team, ensuring effective financial oversight and support. This role requires a collaborative, hands-on approach, providing trusted advice and innovative solutions to optimise resources and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and ensure the efficiency of the financial functions, including budgeting, forecasting, grant applications, major procurements, and financial reporting.
  • Provide timely, accurate financial advice and support to leadership, contributing to strategic planning and operational excellence.
  • Manage and lead the finance team, ensuring robust financial systems, processes, and internal controls are in place and functioning effectively.
  • Engage with external entities and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and maximise funding opportunities.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial practices to support the organization's goals and values.
