We are currently recruiting on behalf of our clients based in Duxford who are recruiting for a Financial Controller on a full-time basis. This role will be office based and to be successful in the role, you would need to have experience in a similar position.

Typical duties include:

- Preparing management reports and providing financial insight to support decision making

- Leading the budgeting and forecasting processes

- Overseeing the day-to-day accounting function and ensure processes are carried out accurately in a timely manner

- Leading the financial year end and audit processes

- Preparing financial statements to manage and monitor cash flow effectively

- Producing month end accounts and reporting back to senior leadership on company financials

You will have:

- A professional accounting qualification ideally (ACCA, ACA or CIMA), although my client may potentially consider QBE

- Ability to communicate effectively to both finance and non-finance stakeholders

- Experience managing a team would be preferred

- A strong technical skillset and be keen to continue development
