Butler Rose is exclusively recruiting a Financial Controller for a growing and highly successful business in North Cornwall.

Reporting into a supportive Finance Director, this role will lead a small finance team to ensure it's smooth running from both a budgeting and forecasting perspective as well as statutory returns.

Key duties will include:

  • Production of monthly management accounts
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Reporting of KPIs to relevant internal stakeholders
  • Involvement in the annual budget process
  • Budget review with various budget holders across the business
  • Quarterly VAT return submissions
  • Dealing with multi-currency
  • Liaison with external auditors
  • Financial planning & analysis to support business decisions
  • Use of company ERP system

The successful candidate will be a formally qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) with strong communication skills and the ability to manage and prioritise your workload. You will be driven to succeed and take a real pride in your work.
