Financial Controller

STRATEGIC

• Providing leadership and guidance to and development of Finance function.
• Responsibility for input to wider business plan through budget and long-range planning process.
• Support due diligence on growth strategy.
• Review customer and supplier operational and commercial relationships, e.g. pyt terms, pricing
• Review and develop business continuity plan.

OPERATIONAL

• Written and verbal communication to the Managing Director and Senior Management Team
• Financial processes review and development
• Lead role in margin and cashflow improvement targets.
• Preparation and responsibility for internal financial reports (Weekly cashflow, Monthly Management Accounts, Quarterly Projections)
• Review and develop KPI reporting - customer and project profitability analysis.
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Supervision of preparation and responsibility for external financial reports (Audited Accounts)

SUPPORT

• Ensure compliance and controls are fit for purpose.
• Monthly VAT Returns and other HMRC regulatory requirements
• Tax planning.
• Finance lease review.
• Lead on cashflow management and introduce opportunities for improvement.
