Financial Controller

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a fast-growing Manufacturing business. They are on an exciting growth trajectory and are currently diversifying and adding new products to the market. The business are seeking a proactive and hands-on Financial Controller. They need an experienced manager to lead the Finance team, business partner with various teams and continue to drive the business forward.

What you will be doing:

• The Financial Controller will be responsible for preparing the monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts
• Ownership of annual budgets and provide commentary on performance vs budget;
• Business Partner the sales, marketing and supply team; ensure reporting is adhered to
• As a Financial Controller, you will work closely with the rest of the Senior Leadership team, and present to investors and the board
• Subject matter expert for auditors
• Manage a team of four

What we are looking for:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA)
• Previous management experience essential
• Experience within the Manufacturing space advantageous but not a requirement
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Due to continued growth, this role requires an experienced Finance individual to build on financial controls, and continue to mentor their team as a proactive and hands on Financial Controller.
