Financial Controller

Resourcery Group are partnering with a global FMCG business who are looking to recruit a Financial Controller for thier Bradford office. This is a brilliant opportunity to work for a market leader with a global reach. The Financial Controller wil work with senior stakeholders and directors to drive business performance in this value adding role.

This role will be based out of the Bradford office but the business has also embraced bybrid working and the successful candidate will be given the opportunity to work from home for part of the week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactive Finance Business Partner providing support, challenge and insight to the Managers and Directors
  • To deliver timely, accurate & relevant financial information & analysis to key stakeholders
  • Identifying risks and opportunities
  • Develop, rigorously challenge, and question the budget/forecast assumptions and KPIs
  • Provision of the Monthly Review Packs and participation in the Monthly Review Meeting
  • Identify and explain business performance variances and recommendations for improvements
  • Consignment reconciliation, analysis, and challenge
  • Margin management through analysis and challenge
  • Develop and understand distribution cost reporting & KPI’s
  • Attend monthly stock takes
  • Maintain strong financial controls across all areas

Key Requirements

  • Qualifed accountant with recognised accountancy qualification
  • Relevant sector experience in ideally an FMCG environment
  • Excellent time management
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
