Financial Controller

A new opportunity has become available for a Financial Controller to join an innovative growing manufacturing company based in Hartlepool. This a permanent part time opportunity which offers flexible working arrangements.

Reporting to the Managing Director the Financial Controller will be apart of the management team and will be responsible for all aspects of finance maintaining positive financial growth. The successful applicant will also be accountable for streamlining processes, implementing internal controls and developing financial plans that will facilitate the organisational strategy.

The Financial Controller will be results driven with high level analytical skills with a flair for numbers.

Responsibilities:

• Managing accounting record
• Implementing internal controls
• Financial reporting and analysis
• Preparing income statement
• Calculating costs
• Setting up budgeting processes
• Managing financial transactions
• Monitor expenditure
• Audit
• Liaising with operations regarding financial issues

Ideal candidates:

• Qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA desirable although qualified by experience will be considered
• Strong experience in financial reporting,analysis and controls
• ERP experience
• Experience in working in a small production environment
• Management experience
