Financial Controller - Retail

Would you like to be responsible for helping create double-digit growth within an established business?
I am working with a small established retail business based in London with a global presence. As a result of ongoing success, they are looking for a dynamic, energetic Financial Controller to join the team to help them grow the business. Working closely with the team, you will be responsible for taking the business to the next level and understanding the overall business functions.

Your new role

• Responsible for the day to day, month-end reporting including cash flow, invoicing, tracking the company's financial performance and status
• Make sure all statutory reporting is completed and inline with compliance
• Lead the business in the completion of budget, forecast and strategic plan.
• Provide commercial business support with key insights, analysis and execution of the business strategy
• Make strategic recommendations to improve current processes and improve the profitability of the business
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis

What you'll need to succeed

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountancy qualification
• Circa 5 years post-qualification experience within retail, e-commerce, wholesale desirable
• Ideally have worked in a small business environment and has led a business to grow
• Strong communication skills written and verbal
• A confident, honest, approachable and energetic individual who wants to learn the overall business and be hands-on
