Join Our Client's Team as a Financial Controller!

Are you a seasoned Financial Controller ready to take on a new and exciting challenge? Look no further! Office Angels presents an incredible opportunity to join our esteemed client in Stockton as their next Financial Controller on a permanent contract basis.

  • Lead financial initiatives and drive strategic decisions.
  • Salary: Enjoy a competitive salary of £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • Location: Stockton-on-Tees, free parking
  • Hours: Standard office hours areMonday to Thursday 07:30-16:30, Friday 07:30-12:30
  • 25 days plus bank holidays, Pension, death in service.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree in Finance or related field preferred.
  • CIMA qualification preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior finance role.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive and promote zero harm behaviours across the business
  • Develop, communicate and influence financial KPI's
  • Weekly forecasting of company financial status
  • Ensure regulatory controls are adhered to
  • Enforcement of lawful and ethical financial standards
  • Review and analysis of CAPEX requests including recommendations
  • Support the head of operations & business unit heads with financial monitoring and effective information management systems - including leading the accuracy and use of MRB system
  • Develop effective relationships with corporate banking services
  • Financial risk portfolio management
  • Financial modelling of production equipment and assets including costed maintenance programmes
  • Support effective budget management for equipment, maintenance and facilities
  • Liaison and relationship management with business auditors
  • Design and implementation of company financial policies and procedures (e.g. expenses, travel, etc)
  • Drive and monitor adherence to financial procedures
  • Liaison with clients in the event of clarification, disputes, etc
  • Lead weekly project review meetings providing to maintain accurate financial forecasts
  • Report on financial performance on a monthly basis
  • Participate in bid reviews on potential new projects and help set up project controls, cash profiles and T&C reviews at the outset of new orders
  • Advise on improvement and recovery strategies and techniques
  • Management and development of finance and administration teams
  • Uphold safety standards across all operations
  • Achieve corporate financial goals
  • Lead performance management initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
