Financial Controller - Overheads, FMCG, Putney (2 days p/w), £65-70k + bonus

We are working exclusively with a successful FMCG business with a plethora of household named brands and are on a growth trajectory. They are looking for a Financial Controller to specifically look after their overheads budget.

You will be responsible for the preparation and management of the monthly, quarterly and annual central overheads and the Group consolidated reporting. Leading on the accounting and planning of all group central overheads and global costs.

This is a highly visible position and will require business partnering with non-finance senior leadership team. They are looking for a talented, ambitious individual to help drive meaningful impact across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train, manage and develop one direct report
  • Ensure accurate consolidated group management and statutory reporting within monthly/quarterly/annual deadlines
  • Business partner with cost centre owners to develop budgets, forecasts and conduct monthly reviews
  • Take ownership of capital expenditure across all sites, including budgeting, forecasting, and regular reviews with key stakeholders
  • Supervise month-end procedures, including reviewing head office cost centres, intercompany transactions, balance sheet reconciliations, and payroll

Essentials:

  • Qualified ACA/ACCA with practice experience
  • Consolidation experience
  • Strong Excel Skills
  • Confident and driven personality

Desirables:

  • Business Partnering experience
  • SAP
