Financial Controller - Nigeria

This position will lead a team of twenty-five finance and accounting professionals in Lagos, Nigeria.

You will have oversight for all finance matters for the Nigerian operations of an international shipping line, reporting to the Head of Finance for the African region.

Familiarity, and experience of finance and accounting processes with Nigeria, and international finance and accounting responsibilities is also needed. Therefore, you will have worked in Nigeria before.

As this is with a shipping line, you will have prior experience and knowledge of shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding.

You will have the relevant level of experience to succeed in the position of Financial Controller, overseeing the accounting function and preparing financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.

Experience in managing a large team of accountants is also required.
