Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced Financial Controller who has worked within the Financial Services / Banking sector. This is a great Financial Controller role which will be leading the financial accounting division of the business and supporting the Head of Finance.

Salary: £85-91K base + car allowance + benefits

Location: Hybrid working - Epsom, Surrey - 2 days office

Parking onsite

Financial Controller duties:

  • Proactively supporting the team, driving forward the division and process improvements etc
  • Setting and agreeing tax strategy
  • Projects, leading on systems from finance perspective - cash / banking / AR / AP / GL etc
  • Delivery of IFRS reporting
  • Ownership of group reporting and improvements
  • Work closely with the Head of Finance with the overall running of the division
  • Ensuring delivery of stat accounts and general ledger up to date
  • Managing relationships with suppliers / auditors
  • Provision of payroll / tax services associated recharges

Skills and experience:

  • Be a qualified Accountant with proven FC / Financial Controller level experience and exposure within FS / Banking sector
  • Commercial awareness, an eye for detail, identify and drive forward change
  • Excellent communication skills
