Financial Controller - Education
A fully qualified Financial Controller is required by a leading educational facility in for an all-encompassing role based in London.
The successful applicant will work closely with the Directors of Finance, the governors and senior management team to support the effective delivery of education . This position will have responsibility for the daily running of the finance function, monthly management accounts, financial analysis, audits amongst other duties.
Industry experience is not necessary for this position.
A salary of up to £60,000 is available depending on experience.
This is an office based position in Central London.
What you will be doing;
- To be responsible for the general financial management of the organisation
- Manage all finance and accounting operations
- Monthly management accounts.
- Cashflow forecasting
- Coordinating and directing the preparation of budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
- Publish timely monthly financial forecasts.
- The development of internal control policies and procedures
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
- Support month end and year end close process.
What you need;
- Proven working experience as a Financial Controller
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Experience with creating financial statements.
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month / year end close process.
- CIMA, ACA or ACCA qualified
Salary:
Basic salary to £60k basic plus benefits
