Job Title: Financial Controller

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000

Location: Central London (hybrid working)

Are you a finance professional prepared for a pivotal role? TalentEdge are currently supporting an award-winning, independent Creative agency as they recruit for a Financial Controller to join their finance function.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established business, with a brilliant client base whilst they continue to grow. This role is all encompassing and will supervise a small finance team, has excellent commercial exposure as well as managing the full month-end process (with opportunity to implement changes and developments).

Key responsibilities:

  • Supervision of a small finance team
  • Implementation of financial controls, processes, and systems improvements
  • Month-end process management, including board reporting and cash flow management
  • Annual budgeting and re-forecasting
  • Production of annual statutory accounts
  • Client project financial management
  • Billing and revenue recognition and client profitability reporting
  • Budget reconciliation and job profitability reporting
  • Ad-hoc project support for business growth

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous agency experience is essential
  • ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified with 2-3 years PQE
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with revenue recognition and WIP management
  • Line management experience
