The Financial Analyst is responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and ensuring adherence to accounting principles and regulatory requirements.

This role plays a vital part in maintaining financial accuracy and integrity and is crucial in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and the overall financial health of our organization. Duties and Responsibilities Financial Reporting: [30%]

  • Prepare, analyse, and interpret financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

· Ensure financial reports comply with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and relevant regulatory requirements. Month-End and Year-End Close: [25%]

  • Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures, including adjusting journal entries and accruals.

· Prepare financial reports for management and stakeholders. Budgeting and Forecasting: [10-15%]

  • Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Monitor budget performance and provide analysis and recommendations for cost control.

· Monitor and manage cash flow, including cash forecasting and liquidity management. Financial Analysis: [10%]

  • Assist financial analysis, variance analysis, and profitability assessments to support decision-making.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for improving financial performance. Financial Software and Systems: [10%]
  • Utilize financial software and systems to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Identify and implement improvements to financial systems as needed. Tax Compliance: [5%]

· Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.

  • Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to minimize tax liabilities. Audit and Compliance: [5%]

· Collaborate with auditors during financial audits and ensure a smooth audit process.

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; part-qualification with a relevant accounting body is preferred.

Experience and Knowledge

  • 5+ years of progressively responsible accounting experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems; advanced Excel skills.
