Financial Adviser - manage some existing clients from the MD - £65k - £85k basic salary plus benefits package - Surrey based Chartered IFA

A key client of mine who I have met and worked with very closely over the past year are a Chartered IFA firm with a very ethical and values driven culture and ethos. I have placed 3 staff into the team and they are looking to expand their team with a brand new Adviser. They have been operating for many years and has built an outstanding reputation for providing holistic financial planning services to local families, retirees and some City professionals. They pride themselves on offer the highest quality service and generate new business purely through recommendation and referral. They offer advice on pensions, investments, tax planning, retirement planning, protections and esoteric investment schemes such as VCT/EIS/SEIS.

This role will be suitable for a candidate who is either Chartered or working towards their Chartered status with at least 3 - 5 years of solid advising experience and who has the gravitas and capabilities to work with HNW individuals and provide a quality service. The Directors do not require an adviser to bring AUM with them, but if you have any clients who match their investment proposition then they will welcome this.

The Managing Director has too many clients and is also trying to undertake strategic/managerial duties simletaneously and needs to pass on some of his book of business to a new adviser to free up his time. The role will be a mixture of managing existing cases (£300k - multiple millions) whilst marketing themselves and building upon any recommendations and referrals. Meetings are held in the office unless there are exceptional circumstances, e.g. elderly and vulnerable clients so the role would be office based but some WFH can be offered once you are bedded into the business.
