My client is a well-established Independent Financial Advice firm with offices based in Uxbridge. They offer whole of market advice on Pensions, Investments, Tax Planning, IHT, Mortgages and some Protections to wealthy clients across the London and home counties region. They also offer Wills and Trusts and Estate work, to help clients with their inter-generational planning.

They have a 25-year history in financial planning in the local area and have an established book of clients that continues to grow organically. Typical clients have from £500k upwards of investable assets, through to those with serval million. Clients range from city professionals, owner managers of SME businesses, accumulators and those that are at and post-retirement. They are now looking for an experienced wealth planning administrator who seeks a clear route through to becoming a Paraplanner due to the recent promotion of the current administrator into and the paraplanner’s role. This position is suitable to administrators who are interested in the servicing and technical side of the job and will appeal to those that seek a long term career from administrator, to paraplanner and then potentially to an advisors role. You will be working alongside a well-established advisor and paraplanner who have built up their client portfolio over the last 20 years. The Paraplanner has ambitions to be promoted into an advisor role in the next 2 years, so is keen to mentor an administrator that aspires to be an paraplanner themselves. They will provide structured hands-on support and training and once you feel comfortable, will get you to attend client meetings, taking detailed notes and then take an active part in the product selection and recommendation process.

This is a rare opportunity for someone that has experience of the administration side of wealth management but who also has a an eye on a long term that can see them progress into an advisors role.

The role has the added advantage of being part office, part home based, and full study support and training will be provided to you. If you wish to undertake your diploma in financial planning qualifications, you will be provided with study books, exam fees and time to study.
