We are hiring for a reputable and well established security firm. We are seeking immediately available candidates with Financial administration experience especially within Purchase Ledger.

The main Job Purpose: Maintenance of and input to the Purchase Ledger and Timesheet processing for Payroll. Ensure that all administration systems/duties are performed effectively and efficiently and that all callers are treated positively and pleasantly.

Purchase Invoice checking and entry into current systems

Job Costing / Time Sheet input

Purchase Ordering and Purchase Order Receipt in accordance with current processes and procedures

Ensure Suppliers and Contractors are approved and monitored

Answer the telephone, forwarding calls where necessary or take messages, reception duties as part of a group.

High level credit control for large value debt > £10,000 for security business including settling and monitoring adherence to credit limits

Observe all safety rules and procedures, ensuring that the work area, equipment and materials are left in a safe state; and that reasonable care is taken for the health and safety of all fellow employees and any other persons within the work area. 

Work in a manner that actively seeks to reduce any negative environmental impact in relation to the processes and procedures operating within their area and across the wider business e.g. reduction of waste, recycling etc. 

Carry out and comply with all company policies, procedures and instructions and any other reasonable duties deemed necessary by the company.
